Race Weekend 8th/9th September
Asymmetric Sprint Weekend 8th/9th September This weekend we are going to try something a little different. A series of short races that will give us the opportunity to sharpen up our close racing techniques. · Short races – target time 10 minutes · Windward/leeward course 1 lap · Short Start sequence - 3 min – 1 min – Start · Mass Start – Short Line · Two Results – Fleet and Handicap I hope that we can get five or six races in on each day. You never know we may get a few new faces at the front of the fleet because mistakes will not be easily rectified. This format may result in lots of incidents and plenty of talking points in the bar and at our Asymmetric supper (all welcome) after sailing on Saturday.
